GLOBIS Hosts Career Seminar for Female Professionals in Singapore

On July 9, GLOBIS Asia Campus welcomed SWITCH, a volunteer initiative founded by Keiko Miyazaki, to host a career seminar for female professionals in Singapore. The event brought together approximately 30 participants, both in person and online, who were seeking guidance and inspiration for their career development.

The seminar featured a special lecture by GLOBIS Asia Campus CEO Takashi Tsutsumi, who shared his perspectives on career development and the importance of continuously reflecting on one’s professional aspirations throughout different stages of life. Participants included Japanese expatriate partners, as well as professionals working across a range of industries in Singapore.

A key theme of the seminar was the challenge many women face in maintaining and developing their careers while navigating changes in their personal and family circumstances. Through interactive discussions, participants exchanged experiences and explored ways to continue pursuing meaningful career paths despite these challenges.

The event was organized in collaboration with SWITCH and its founder, Keiko Miyazaki, whose ongoing efforts support Japanese women in building sustainable and fulfilling careers. By providing a venue for this seminar, GLOBIS Asia Campus was pleased to contribute to an initiative that encourages career development, personal growth, and meaningful dialogue within the community.
