Thursday, June 2, 2022
6:00 PM - 7:30 PM (Pacific Daylight Time)
Details:
Join our lecture to explore what is behind Japanese Arts and Management. The aim of this lecture is to give participants a new lens to look at Japanese society from a deeper perspective.
Message from the lecturer, Tomoya Nakamura:
Many people have questioned why Japanese products are so precise and why Japanese services are so thoroughly conducted. By looking into Japanese history and arts, I would like to share with you what has been the center of focus in Japanese society. Having this understanding, I believe, will not only help you in comprehending Japanese businesses, but also in making your own life more well-balanced and attuned to nature.
The following are some of the topics that will be discussed in the lecture:
- Japanese Arts
- Japanese Festivals
- Japanese View of Body/Mind/Spirit
- Common Global Movements
- Management theory (Theory U, Knowledge-Creating Company, 300-year-old companies)
After the lecture on Japanese Arts and Management, our Admission Advisors will give an orientation to GLOBIS University and our MBA programs.
